It is our focus to continually upgrade library services and facilities to the community of all ages, including residents with special needs who may require special technology to access library resources. In addition to Friends assisting Cairns libraries in expanding the homebound service across the region, a major priority exists for libraries to provide Reading Edge Technology for visually impaired members of the Community.
