Edmonton
Edmonton Library serves the expanding population centre of Edmonton and adjacent localities and can be accessed from the Service Road running parallel to the Bruce Highway. The building began life as a School of Arts, which then became a Library and Community Centre in 1975. With the construction of Hambledon House Community Centre on the adjacent site, the library was able to expand to occupy the whole building. The library underwent a refurbishment in 2006 with new shelving and equipment. A full range of facilities are available for members, including photocopying, wordprocessing and public internet access.
